Restored Project #2 / 4 Years Later

In this Model Home we installed our Stamped Texture Concrete Overlay System on the Borders only, not in the whole area as we normally do. Our Home Builder Associate wanted to have something different, but unique at the same time, in his Model Home.

Our unique Stamp Texture Mix Formula is strong enough that can be applied on top of a concrete surface by it self, with no need of a sealer coat on top of it, as all other concrete coat mixes in the market do.

After we apply our Stamped Texture Concrete Overly on the Borders of this project we stained it with our custom Concrete Stain that do not requires to be sealed as all other concrete stains in the market do.

This project show us how ground conditions can affect the color fading process on our Stamped Texture Concrete Overlays.

Although we didn’t sealed this project, after 4 years of heavy foot traffic, only 35% of its color has faded out from the sidewalk, while 90% of the colors had faded out from the middle section of this entryway. Why?

As you can see in picture (R#2 – 2/1) most of the color has faded out from the Borders but not from the sidewalk, even though this project wasn’t sealed.

Picture (R#2 – 2/3) shows you how 95% of the colors had faded out from the middle section of this entryway. This is due to the fact that all the rain and sprinkler’s water flowing in the front of this house flows through the top part of this rounded middle section.
But, as you might also notice in picture (R#2 – 2/4), after our re-stain process we gave the Wow factor back to this property.
